Women Empowering Women (WEW)

Our Women Empowering Women program provides women with the financial, educational, emotional and professional support they need to re-enter or advance in the workplace. WEC members give of their time and talents, at no charge throughout the recipient's tenure.

UPDATED INFORMATION FOR (2017-2018)

WEC is proud to announce the first woman veteran to receive the WEW Scholarship for 2017-18.

 Christina Montalvan

Christina is a retired Coast Guard Lieutenant. She will be attending FIU, she's been admitted to study a Masters of Liberal Arts - Interdisciplinary Studies.

Her goal is to study women in the military and their use of leadership, Christina plans to use this to help retired women integrate themselves into society.
