Do you know a woman furthering her career by starting or retuning to college this fall?  Would she be a candidate for WEC’s Women Empowering  Women (WEW) Scholarship program which offers two scholarships of $2,500? 

A recipient shall be considered if she meets the following criteria:

1. Have a goal of re-entering the workforce after being absent for a period of time (illness, childrearing, etc.) or furthering her career by taking courses to improve skills.

1. Local resident of South Palm Beach, Broward, North Miami-Dade.

1. Educational goal of a degree from college/university, community college or vocational school.

1. Will attend WEC meetings when possible.
