A very special thank you to Carol Metevier for her generous donation of festive centerpieces for our October lunch. They truly brought the fun and beauty of the season to each table. On behalf of our WEC women, We truly appreciate the gesture and your generosity Carol.
Thank you, Chadia, for helping out with my mom’s car. You and Jay made the transaction pleasant, quick and easy. I’m very satisfied with the outcome! I feel confident in referring Auto Tech & Body to clients, family and friends.

This photo is of Jan with the magnificently designed floral arrangement that our club gave her. The exquisite assortment was designed by our sister/member Eileen Cheng from Blossom Street Florist. Thanks for all you do for WEC, Eileen. Your gestures of kindness are always greatly appreciated.
Jan Bullard hosted the 2011 Thank You dinner for board members and those who have offered special assistance for WEC. We met at the Tropical Acres Restaurant in Dania. Thank you Jan for the superb evening. The food and drink menus offered endless choices to please even the most discriminating palate. The music was perfect for jovial conversation and sharing. The time flew by way too quickly. In speaking for everyone, I am anxious for our new year to start in August.

A sincere gesture of thanks to Edie Hoppe for bringing our Hairdresser to the WEC Star, Nina Dubrock to our WEC sisterhood. Nina has been a blessing for us in need of care of our tresses, along with hosting the ever growing popular event After Hours. Looking forward to your next After Hours, Nina.
I for one, say Thank you Edie.

I wanted to thank Eileen Cheng from Blossom Street Florist for the 3 beautiful arrangements she sent to The Tamarac Dentist for Ann Meacham and Dr. Dora Vilk-Shapiro’s April’s Cannon Circle on April 21. See photos of her creations here:
Hosting a Cannon Circle was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it to any member that wants to get involved in WEC in ways other than helping on the Board.
My son, Jordan H. Shapiro, just completed his Junior year at the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, and has been appointed Chief Justice of the Student Government’s Judicial Department. He is awaiting confirmation by the Student Government Senate and is acting as interim Chief until the official confirmation. He has his own office at the Student Union Building. Needless to say, I am an extremely proud mom. He is still interested in Dentistry as his career choice. See photo below.
