Feb 9, 6-8 pm, Allied/PACE Event

On Feb. 9, we will enjoy an evening of fun. Allied Kitchen & Bath is offering a reception for WEC members and member’s guests. We will need to pay online thru the reservations page, or bring a donation of 20 dollars, or like kind amount “PACE girl friendly” donation per person to the event for PACE.

In an atttempt to simplify matters, our Guru Chris Guld has graciously added the “Special Events” tab with the Allied/Pace function for us once more. You can pay online if you wish. Karen & Jenny will let me know, so you & your guests can be counted & you won’t have to email me. Otherwise, I need to hear from you. :) (RSVP to susan@susankingsley.biz with the number of people who are coming in your party).

A note from Connie about the event; Hope you can come to this event – really FABULOUS hors d oveurs made by Chef Lenore Nolan Ryan and wine. We only ask that you bring toiletries for the PACE girls valued at $20 or more OR bring a check or pay online. The great folks at Allied Kitchen are donating the wine and food and we hope that you can make this event and provide these wonderful girls with some much needed items or cash to purchase them. Space is limited and I really would like for you to come – so please rsvp.

Sign up ahead is required, as space is allotted for 30-60 people.

Chris Guld Teaches Picasa

As you may have read in last month’s WEC news.  Google invited Chris Guld out to their headquarters in California to present a joint webinar on Picasa.  Picasa is a free program by Google to manage all your digital photos.

The webinar was recorded and is now available for all to view on Chris’s special Picasa Tutorials website.

She also has written a booklet called the Beginner’s Guide to Picasa. It is packaged along with 2 hours of her ‘Show-Me-How’ videos at a price of $29.95.  Think ‘Christmas Gift’ for all the digital photographers on your list!
