WEC Linked in group page is getting great results

weclogolr

Hi Ladies,

It is your mad hatter, energizer bunny junior, blog posting fool at it again…… :)

I wanted to make you aware how much fun we seem to be having in our private Linked In group page. I am sent emails with comments, so am aware you gals are liking it and am getting more requests to join daily.

You need to have a Linked In profile to join. It is free and easy. You don’t have to fill out a complete profile to join. Just join and then worry about it later. When you are a member in Linked In, search for our club name proper, all spelled out, “Womens Executive Club of Fort Lauderdale”. I will see a request when I log in and accept your request. If you are having trouble, email me  @ SKingsley@remax.net and I can invite you to join. You must be a Linked In member to access the site. EASY EASY EASY to do. We can help you if you need assistance.

We are getting outsiders wanting to join. I am telling them to come to a meeting and join our group, so I can happily accept them…… Please spread the word to other members that this group site is up and running. It is a great place to chat privately with members for synergy and sharing. :)

Just another way for us to improve our daily communication with one another. Thanks  for taking the time to read this post. I look forward to your request to join, WEC ladies. :)

Carol McKeever’s sister Catherine Zimmerman to be interviewed on NBC’s Today Show "Your Life Calling"

September 16 – 8:00am to 9:00am

Tune in as Jane Pauley interviews me about my  new ventures as an author and sustainable   landscape designer on the NBC Today Show as part of Jane Pauley’s series "Your Life Calling Today" sponsored by AARP. This new series profiles people age 50+ who are re-inventing themselves in new and different ways.

Jane and camera crew traveled to our family farm in Ohio, where I grew up, to video tape the interview. The segment will be followed at noon ET with a live online chat at www.aarp.org/Jane.  Jane and I will be joined by Betsy Werley, Executive Director of The Transition Network, to talk about designing a career that will see you through old age.  Register now and you will receive a reminder.  An expanded version of the Today Show segment will be available online after the show airs at www.aarp.org/Jane.

My newly released book, Urban & Suburban Meadows, lays out step-by-step practical

ways to create your own organic, sustainable meadow garden, whether it is big or small.
